The EV Caboose was first introduced to the railroads in the 1950’s, and quickly became, along with the bay window style, the mainstay of modern caboose design. At the forefront of caboose production was the International Car Company of Kenton, Ohio, so naturally, we’ve patterned ours after that impressive original; the traditional gathering place for the train’s crew.
This ATLAS O TRAINMAN® model represents the typical International EV Caboose that was produced for many roads, from the late 1950’s through the 1970’s. We think you’ll find the prototypical details outstanding, and the craftsmanship exceptional! No historically accurate layout is complete without a traditional caboose – the car that was always last, but never least!
